Hi, I built this circuit to charge 4AA NiMH batteries. http://www.members.dca.net/kben/misc/buck.html I want to check the voltage as I am charging, by cutting the PWM, and using the ADC in sleep mode. I plan on tying a resistor divider network between the zener and the battery and gnd. Something like this Lsm345 | Battery - Gnd R (1K) ADC PIN>> R (1K) Gnd Question, will this create problems for the ADC pin when charging the battery ? Will the current/voltage feed into the ADC pin and damage it ? 1K is not a lot of protection. The highest current I will be charging at, is 1Amp. If it will damage the pin, any suggestions on how to alter the circuit to protect it. I am using a 16F88 and the data sheet says max resistance on ADC should be 2.5K not 10K like the 16F876. Thanks for any help/suggestions! Kevin -- http://www.piclist.com hint: PICList Posts must start with ONE topic: [PIC]:,[SX]:,[AVR]: ->uP ONLY! [EE]:,[OT]: ->Other [BUY]:,[AD]: ->Ads
