I think Mike was meaning technological progress as opposed to dominance. That
is obvious if you read the rest of his message. Plants and animals? Third world
countries? Wow, you are really reaching there Gordon. I don't see where that
even remotely ties in to the subject. Its amazing how much some people like to
spout off about the US at the slightest opportunity (or completely at random).
