man, y'all are dense.  Here, we have a manufacturer in the USA, and a
non-technical customer in England.  The original poster is looking for
someone who lives closer to the customer to go swap out a part at the
customer site.  It could even be socketted and a piece of cake, but
it's too much for the actual customer (user can be SO clueless.)  It's
a perfectly reasonable thing to request, and probably easy money...

It would have been nice if the original message was SLIGHTLY clearer,
and not repeated four times, but it was far from mysterious!
