I'm after something similar myself, except I only need 1.5-2A , I was thinking along the lines of a PCB edge connector but could easily be convinced otherwise. If I see what your after in my search I'll let you know, do you have any better recommendations or links etc that you have come across that might look usable for what I need? -----Original Message----- From: pic microcontroller discussion list [mailto:PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU]On Behalf Of David VanHorn Sent: Thursday, 27 November 2003 8:43 AM To: PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU Subject: [EE]: Small, high current connectors I have some existing connectors, that I want to sub out for better ones. They are right angle thruhole connectors, four pins, on 0.1" spacing, with male (or should I say "outie" ) pins, in a shroud that measures 0.5 x 0.1 roughly (can't lay hands on a caliper at the moment). I also need the female ("innie") side, to match. I would like to get something rated for a few hundred insertion/removal cycles, and 3-5A, with a blade-type connector.
