Heh, Highstream has recently upped the ante with their spam filters. They're universal and can't be turned off/calibrated on a per user basis. They've recently rejected a great deal of PICLIST traffic as being spam. Apparently they don't like the way the MIT listserve operates. They suggested that I contact MIT and have them change a few things. They didn't have any filtering last month; now they're email expert nazis. Anyway, switched email accounts. Blanket filtering isn't a great solution. ----- Original Message ----- From: "DOC" > Sympatico (my provider) installed spam filters for all their customers > and the junk mail dramatically dropped. > > But since then it's been climbing slowly but surely. -- http://www.piclist.com hint: The PICList is archived three different ways.
