I think they are doing their best to try to prevent problems in future. =
MCT have always had short
leadtimes, which I think is a major part of their success.=20

In contrast, Atmel just quoted a customer of mine 16 weeks for volume =
shipments of an AVR part.
Seems like they haven't learnt from the disatrous leadtime problems they =
had a few years ago.
