Yeah, I have come to expect this of the 'net these days. There are so many potential bottlenecks that I have found messages sometimes get jammed up for quite some time. an example I had recently through a Yahoo message list went like this. Sent message from home to list on Tue @ 23:10, eventually received through list on Fri @ 04:05 Not seeing above message from list, sent another one from work on Wed @ 17:30, eventually rec through list on Fri @ 04:05 Friend on list replied, his message sent Fri @ 04:07, I received through list @ 04:08 My home ISP is totally separate from the university network I am on at work. I have come to expect these sort of delays now. I know there are lots of messages sent to the various lists I am on that I do not see, they just get lost, and I only become aware of them when I see a reply to the message. -- http://www.piclist.com hint: The PICList is archived three different ways.
