Depends on what you mean by cheap, and just what you are willing to put up with. B.G.Micro often has very attractive prices, however, you need to read carefully to understand what you are getting. Quite often they are pulls, buried in some improbable bezel, backlit with some weird voltage, etc. They will always tell you, although sometimes you need to read carefully. I have used them quite a number of times and have never been dissatisfied. All Electronics is similar. I haven't dealt with them but their prices seem similar to B.G. Recently, DigiKey started carrying Lumex LCDs, some of which are quite inexpensive. Since I generally have to order stuff from DigiKey anyway, I have tended to get my LCDs there lately. A new 16x2 Lumex LCD is only a buck or two more than a pull from B.G., and the second order to B.G. would have meant paying more shipping, so DigiKey turns out the cheaper option. 72/73 de WB8RCR http://www.qsl.net/wb8rcr didileydadidah QRP-L #1446 Code Warriors #35 ----- Original Message ----- Sent: Monday, November 24, 2003 2:59 AM Subject: cheap text lcd > where can i get cheap text lc displays? > tino > > -- > http://www.piclist.com hint: The list server can filter out subtopics > (like ads or off topics) for you.
