However it is possible to create an effective 64000 point set by using two
32000 point sets, using the different x points to effectively move the graph
along so it becomes one graph after the other, with a seamless join. I
suspect this can be extended ad infinitum using data across sheets if need
be.

Sure the 65000 row issue is a pain, but when importing, it looks like Excel
is friendly, and know where it stopped importing the data, and gives that as
the start point prompt for the next import.
