TTYL Byron has made a decision already: he'll sell the software to those unfortunate men who "are stuck" at MS Windows, old, current and future versions. If you're to sell the software, you must guarantee Max compatibility; I doubt that cross-platform development tools could help this much (did he tell he wanna use system Windows things, DLLs, callbacks and all?) .
