Hi: I thought it was the PICList archive that exposed my email address to the world. As it turns out, someone who responded to me has his e-mail reader set to show a custom header, i.e., ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mike" To: Sent: Sunday, November 23, 2003 4:25 AM Subject: [OT:] Ultra Edit Word File Please turn the "from" switch off or just delete the line. People take the time to munge their email addresses for a reason. I set this one up because sneakemail has a bandwidth limitation. I can always delete it and resubscribe to the list, but then I'll run out of ideas for a name and have to use random jibberish :-) I notice, other than the occasional error when the mail client eats a topic tag, some people are posting responses without the Re: in front. Makes it hard to sort the mail, etc. BRs, Mike -- http://www.piclist.com hint: PICList Posts must start with ONE topic: [PIC]:,[SX]:,[AVR]: ->uP ONLY! [EE]:,[OT]: ->Other [BUY]:,[AD]: ->Ads
