Recently had a discussion on this exact subject - don't know where it went, but you might check the archives. http://www.sanface.com/pdfindex.html is a freeware perl utility to generate a PDF index - you can extract title information. I've found the title's of the microchip PDFs to be useful (ie, PIC18FXX2 Data Sheet) so it should help. It creates another PDF file as the index file. You could simply use this as is, or you could modify the code to rename the file for you instead of outputting more PDF. Hopefully that helps! -Adam John Ferrell wrote: >Resending with proper tag. The Microchip files are the worst, I have most of the datasheets & AppNotes under control. > >Any thoughts? > >John Ferrell >6241 Phillippi Rd >Julian NC 27283 >Phone: (336)685-9606 >johnferrell@earthlink.net >Dixie Competition Products >NSRCA 479 AMA 4190 W8CCW >"My Competition is Not My Enemy" > > >-- >http://www.piclist.com#nomail Going offline?
