What I am looking for is a schematic for the PS/2 style mouse (any additional reference info would be great also). The Microsoft PS/2 mouse (the version I have here) uses a PIC16c58 OTP device with encoders connected to RB0:RB3. It also appears that transistors are used in some fashion to switch the IR emitters (note that PS/2 mouse is capable of receiving initialization data from the PC). I'm not so interested in the protocol as I am the hardware as I want to utilize portions of the existing circuitry. Thanks! Regards, Stephen D.
