Thanks Alan. Actually, I did a fair bit of research into what's
available at the moment. I have my PD (powered device) chip samples
already, I will design a board when I get the chance. Maxim has a super
cool single channel PSE (power sourcing equipment) chip. Most of the
other manufacturers only make a quad device minimum, which is great if
you're building a hub, but not so great if you just want to make a
single channel mid stream power inserter. Unfortunatly, that chip won't
be available for samples or purchase until January I believe. Ah
well...at the moment I can wait!
