Now I reach for a PIC before I reach for a 555. Guess I(we?) have some learning to do. :o) After reading the sites Dan posted (above), I think I'll definitely be looking into CLPD for future projects. BTW, are they all PLCC, QFP and such, or are there some in DIPs and SOIC? Seems like all those pins are overkill for a lot of applications.
