Eagle thinks so too, apparently :-)  I tried to autoroute one trace, from a
DB9 pin to a pin on a .1" header. No other traces on the board.  The two
pins are straight line-of-sight to each other.  Eagle routed the trace
around the extreme outside of the board -- all four edges.  My settings
could be screwed up but I'm pretty sure I didn't check any box that said
"Use longest trace possible."
