Hi All, Furthering the thread the other day talking about laminators, toner = transfer and so on... I make my own pcbs for my DIY projects... I made a heath robinson UV = box from a 10" UV tube, some aluminium foil as a reflector, and a clippy = photo frame for the board, all mounted in a shoe box. I'm quite proud of it, because it cost about =A38 (for the tube, I "scrounged" all the other = parts) and it works really well. I laser print onto transparency at work. Unfortunately the toner = density isn't really good enough so I have to print two sheets and stick them together and expose with both of them. Anyway, for the most part my results are good. But I've not come up = with a method for getting a component layout print onto the board. I think = this is called the silkscreen, but correct me if I'm wrong (the typically white print that marks where the components go). Has anyone ever tackled this = in a DIY scenario? I'd be interested to hear any ideas. Jon -- http://www.piclist.com hint: To leave the PICList mailto:piclist-unsubscribe-request@mitvma.mit.edu
