Top or bottom. I wish to make a PCB with a single side only. But whenever i try to use the autorouter the Software uses top and bottom layer to route. It does so for simple circuits too Thankyou - -------- in the board window, execute the "change layer trestrict" command so that the next items you draw will be in the top restrict layer. then use the draw --> rectangle menu to initiate drawing a rectangle. Draw the rectangle larger than the dimensions of the board. You may also find it useful to execute the "add 0R@jumper" command in the schematic for boards that are difficult to autoroute. The solpad library may also be useful. - --- Aubrey McIntosh http://www.piclist.com/member/AM-vima-Y84 PIC/PICList FAQ: http://www.piclist.com -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: PGPfreeware 7.0.3 for non-commercial use iQA/AwUBP7IbBAKlSw8yssF7EQKYFgCfahMl6rCwC7Qgfdq6qaGs4rFGa5cAn3P8 NDgtVDXqh/S53GIysJ9yJk6C =7pBO -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- http://www.piclist.com hint: To leave the PICList mailto:piclist-unsubscribe-request@mitvma.mit.edu
