The original post implied that the units were drawing a constant
3uA. It's emerged now that there's a mix of quiescent and demand
currents, which I know from personal experience will result in a
completely different battery longevity. Calculations will get you in
the ballpark but it's unlikely you'd find a chart for every unique
practical application to get an exact answer. To get closer you'd
need to know a lot more about the battery's regenerative chemistry
