The 1% / year self discharge rate is correct.  I never said it was going to
run more than 10 years :-)

Can't be right I suspect.
Best tech is somewhere not too far out past 10 years AFAIK.
Even 20 years would be 5% pa.
Regardless of whether this is compound or linear change per year.
