I consider your problem is you probably still have a debug option set. It's not allowed if you want to run your program alone. Hello I am a new list member, so bear with me! I am trying to run code written in CCS's C compiler on a 16F876, using an ICD 1 and MPLAB. The code works fine when running in debug mode with the ICD connected (i.e. with the 'icd = true' and 'debug' options set) but when I try and run the code 'standalone' it does not work at all. As I know the code works, is there a reason why the PIC would not be running my code without the ICD connected? The MCLR line is not held in reset and the oscillator is running! I would really appreciate any advice! Thanks, Angus Thomson --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com).
