I use IsoPro for my home projects. It's a VERY simple program. It allows only a few basic shapes, and does not (AFIK) have pre-defined land patterns for the common chips. As I use components of different sizes I try to save each one to a file so that I can cut and paste it into new designs. Most of the free software packages from PCB fab sites have all the standard land patterns built in, but they do not allow you to easily print the design.
