Compared to many other makers, I'd say Microchip are better than avarage = at admitting errors, issuing errata etc.=20 This one, and the PIC16C74 BRGH issue are the only ones I can recall, out= of a HUGE number of parts. PICs are used by so many people that any issule like this are likely to = surface and become public knowledge, even if the maker doesn;t acknowledge them.
