Are you still able to buy KS0066's? I thought they were obsoleted. I'll try your suggestion, but I don't think it'll help. At this point, I'm guessing that my code isn't waiting long enough for something, thus causing the display to get confused. The Samsung KS0066: Pure evil in a QFP package. Still, at least the three LCD1003 (16x1) LCDs I ordered work - but they use the "authentic" () Hitachi HD44780 controller.
