I'd agree with Peter - you'll get double the scope for your money going second hand than you would with buying a new scope. I picked up a virtually unused 20mhz dual trace scope off ebay for around #60 - boxed and in near immaculate condition. If I was to buy another one, I'd probably go for a DSO - much better when trying to work out what is going on in digital circuits.
