But by using two PIC's, one acting as a programmer, the whole setup could be seen as a "bootloader" from the PC side. An "embedded Wisp628" :-) But then, you'll need much more PCB space so the whole idea with using the 12Fxxx PIC in the first place is lost. Maybe the second PIC could be included in a kind of "dongle" on the cable between the PC and the device with the 12Fxxx.
