Yes, I meant. Anyway I was trying to explain to you your coment:

"If you were able to comment them out, that meant that you weren't
referring to them in your code, so the compiler could have optimized out
the pointer.  Note that in your declaration, "hello world" will be in
ROM, and the pointer str3 will be in RAM."

So, my code refers to the screens in the code, but I can comment it..
