Can anyone suggest a straightforward IDE controller IC that will interface
nicely to a 16F877?  A legacy project now needs to control a standard 5 1/4"
CD/DVD drive, and I'd like to hear about any success/horror stories before
beginning what would otherwise be a blind search.
