Cause this is for a salable product, (a USB interface for the WARP-13. )
Can't really send something like this out with a film canister.


All our Tiny Talk data loggers use film canisters and i think they are
perfect.  I would love to have been at Tiny Talk HQ when the proj
coordinator said "this thing must fit in a film canister"
