Instead of using a resistor voltage divider off the 9v battery + side to = an ADC input to measure battery level, how about this: I already have an anti-backwards-battery diode between the 9v battery = and the voltage regulator. Off that diode add two more diodes and = connect to one side of the on-board comparator. Connect the other side = of the comparator to the 5v output of the voltage regulator. Add a 5.3v = zener to the comparator battery input to keep the voltage safe. 3 diodes, and when the battery drops below 6.8 volts, the comparator = should trip. Right?
