I know what you mean. I've already done a parallel port DMX dongle but was
having trouble with the parallel part. (under Win XP) I thought about
using USB
to replace the parallel section, then wondered if the FTDI device could
keep up
with the DMX stream by itself or if I need to keep the micro in there as
a buffer.
