If so, a jellybean NPN transistor driven via a 4.3Kohm base resistor from a PIC pin will do fine. Emitter to ground, collector to the load. You should assume that this leaves the low side of the sensor up to 300mV above ground. If that is too much, use a logic level FET. Gate driven directly from PIC pin, source to ground, drain to the load.
