Backtracking a bit, I have used "Chip Quick" aka SMD1-ND for lo-vol rework. Is this a variation on the Wood's metal theme with it's low melt alloy? It has worked well, is very quick, clean and affordable for leaded SMT rework - especially SOIC's and TQFP's. Before I recommend it to to others, are there any negatives I am unaware of??
