In the many years of working with computers, I've seen some strange and wonderful things happen with large hard drives. Most noticibly when installing a large (40gb) into a system that didnt support drives that big, the bios would not recognise it so I didnt bother setting the bios up at all. When I installed the disk management software, the whole 40gb drive was recognised without any settings in the bios for it at all. Must be magic or something.
