If you'd cared to check the IC they are using (TC7WH04FU,

you'd seen that it's a 8-pin, 3-inverter SOIC chip.

And, again, they do *not* claim it's a RS232 interface !
They say it's a "serial interface", which is perfectly valid.

What is the problem ?
