I've had a few issues with the 16F819. The most notable is the internal RC clock will not meet the original spec (2%) it's more like 2 to 20% with some nasty non-linearities over temperature. Stick with a ceramic resonator or xtal and you shouldn't have any problems. Also, I've had some issues with lower value resistors on RB7 and RB6 during ICSP. You must make sure that RB4 is pulled down otherwise it will revert to LVP. If possible keep 10K or more loads on RB6 and 7. Other than that it seems like a good part.
