I've uses more than 500 of them with internal oscilator
at 8MHz and doing 2400bps comunication without a problem.

I can't say I've done any high volume production but I've used in many
projects and find it's very stable. The bootloader feature is what I
like. I can program it in-circuit and have had zero issues. In fact I
find it seems to bootloader program slightly better and faster than a
16F87x part. I really like that chip.
