In principle yes, but you need to take care with SMPS.  the above current is
the average current taken from the line.  A SMPSU draws curent intermittently
from the line so the peak current will be larger, usually at least twice
this.  Also, unless you include a local energy store (capacitor) this current
fluctuation will be transmitted up the line and who knows what the phone
company would think of that?
