>I've had arc eye from welding and you certainly know about it. I >would say "irritated and sandy feeling" is an huge understatement, >it felt like someone was grit blasting the back of my eyeballs and >I had to go to the local eye hospital to get my eyes anesthetised >in the middle of the night. Needless to say I am somewhat more >carefull when welding these days. if that is all you had to do then you were lucky. One colleague of mine at a place of past employment happened to be looking straight at an arc welder, just as he struck the arc. The hospital insisted on putting him through a series of tests for STD as these can apparently produce very similar symptoms, despite his being emphatic about the cause of his eye problem. -- http://www.piclist.com hint: To leave the PICList mailto:piclist-unsubscribe-request@mitvma.mit.edu
