hey, this tool is great!! while talking about mp3's, there's still another conversion problem... there are two (or four) common way to archive mp3's. directory structured and flat, where all tracks are within a single directory: directory structured with album title: \\.mp3 directory structured without album title: \.mp3 flat with album title: - - .mp3 flat without album title: - .mp3 there are some players, which work better with the directory structured system, while others work better with the flat system. is there an easy way to convert dir structure / filename between the directory structured and the flat way? (i.e. copy all files from the directory structured format to a single directory, while changing there filenames according to the former directory structure) tino "p.cousens" Gesendet von: pic microcontroller discussion list 16.09.2003 01:52 Bitte antworten an pic microcontroller discussion list An: PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU Kopie: Thema: Re: [EE]: Audio format converters http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/mp3gain/mp3gain-win-full-1_2_1.exe?us e_mirror=heanet not for wav files !. but for mp3's it works great for leveling gain, I've run all my mp3's through it (6,000 files, 30 gig) took about 7 hours in total so it's fast too.
