Hi. This is not bullet proof (as you say). The "outer" frame can have stuff needed for the "inner" frame to display properly. Such as some global (that is, used in a number of inner frames) Javascript functions called from the inner frame. Some sites also traps the call to an inner frame, and automaticly (re-) displays the full frameset. Frame are neat when navigating a (single) site, but a b-i-t-b when trying to share links...
