Hi Olin, I guess the trouble is that we all have our own opinions of how this should be done. My personal preference is to see the reply at the very top. I personally hate scrolling down a long message to see the response. If I need to see the thread I can always go back in time and peruse the messages since I archive all messages received. A lot of times I scan messages like reading the newspaper. I'm I lazy? Some will say yes, but I'd rather say that I'm using *my* time more efficiently. Keeping up with this list can suck a lot of time out of one's day. This is not arrogance -- I choose how I would like to spend *my* time. If the PICLIST administrators mandate a certain way of posting, then sure, I'll comply. It really should not be up to one member to decide how things are done -- it should be up to the administrators to decide -- if the administrators want us to decide, then it should be democratic. I just realized that you probably won't see this message since I think you filter out OT stuff, but this is OT stuff.
