Ok, quick question before I do something stupid. I'm putting in the 10 pin header for ICSP. During normal operation there will be a shorting block installed. If I put a power supply decoupling cap on the PIC side of the connector, rather than the rest of the circuit side of the connector, will I run into problems using ISCP? Should the decoupling cap be isolated from the Vss and Vdd coming from the programmer?
