Hi Jai, Have you queried the device revision # of the PICs? Maybe this will help in addition to the date codes if you need to contact Microchip about this. Device ID registers: DEVID1 can be read at address 0x3FFFFE DEVID2 can be read at address 0x3FFFFF The lower 5 bits of DEVID1 indicate the device revision of the PIC (0 to 31 decimal). This device revision can be mapped to a specific errata document, but you probably will need Microchip's guidance on this. I have the silicon device revision # to errata doc translations for the PIC18F452, but not for the PIC18F458 -- sorry.
