I have the same configuration as you have.
I think that any other solution will be inventing the wheel, unless someone
will succeed to transmit electric energy wirelessly. :-)

What do people use for power distribution (as in, the power strip under
the table). I'm looking for ideas since I often run out of receptacles
although I use two powerstrips, one upsd and one straight. Any suggestions
are welcome.
