I have the google toolbar installed (it blocks popups). I have always found the google toolbars "search this site" feature to be better than the microchip search. Even though the microchip searchis run by google. How odd is that!? Besides, google is always up. -----Original Message----- From: michael brown [mailto:spam-me@HOUSTON.RR.COM] Sent: 11 September 2003 20:17 To: PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU Subject: Re: [PIC]: Is there a problem with the Microchip web site search engine ? Is this a problem at my end or > are other people having the same issues ? I tried looking at their new e-store, but it seems to be down. Yesterday, it appeared that the main Microchip site was down for a little while at least once. Actually, I suspect that there are bigger problems with the internet right now. DNS server problems would make it seem like some sites are down temporarily. I hadn't received any messages from the piclist after about 5:00 am today. The weird thing is that I was able to communicate with the listserv software and have it tell me that everything was ok as far as my MAIL settings were concerned. Then about 1:30 pm, a bunch of messages showed up. I suspect that I've missed many messages, but I am not sure yet. Anyone else have any problems today? michael brown -- http://www.piclist.com hint: The PICList is archived three different ways.
