   It makes much more sense to start with basics, not with
specific article or design. Without solid ground you'll
spend a lot of time fighting against "weird" behaviour etc.

Ask the list about best learning strategy, best books,
first PIC project, best PIC for a newbie, which compiler
is the best, Assembler vs C question,...
