The development environment that Olin distributes
(for free) has this builtin complete with a number
of macros such as FIFO_DEFINE, FIFO_INIT, FIFO_PUT,
FIFO_GET and so on. If you don't want to use the complet
environment, you could maybe get a few "ideas" from reading
Olins code...
