I think I skipped class the day they covered "jellybean" components. A quick web search found some usage but no explanation. Anyone know history of the term? thanks chuckc -------Original Message------- From: Olin Lathrop Sent: 09/03/03 02:33 PM To: PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU Subject: Re: [EE:] subsitute for 2n2222? > > > What commonly available transistor can I use in place of a 2n222? I assume you mean 2N2222. In that case, it aleady is a very commonly available transistor. I use 2N4401 as my jellybean NPN, but those are probably a little less commonly available. ***************************************************************** Embed Inc, embedded system specialists in Littleton Massachusetts (978) 742-9014, http://www.embedinc.com -- http://www.piclist.com hint: To leave the PICList mailto:piclist-unsubscribe-request@mitvma.mit.edu > -- http://www.piclist.com hint: To leave the PICList mailto:piclist-unsubscribe-request@mitvma.mit.edu
