I bought a Linsys wireless router about a month or 2 back.  My wife's PC
downstairs would connect most of the time but wouldn't always.  I noticed it
wouldn't work during a rain storm.  I figured it must be on the fringe so
this past weekend I bought a booster.  It increased the signal level at her
PC and seems to work faster now according to my wife.  I figure with a
stronger signal it is having fewer retries.
